Sanyo Denki Co., Ltd. has developed the "SANUPS K33A" peak cut device that helps factories reduce costs for electrical installations.
Since large servo press machines and conveyor systems require a large instantaneous electric power to drive motors, so that the power distribution system in the factory is required to provide the instantaneous peak power. The "SANUPS K33A" can reduce the peak power in the distribution system by releasing the energy stored in the electric double-layer capacitor to drive motors and thus can keep the capacity of the distribution system to the minimum necessary.
Large servo press machines and conveyor systems require a large instantaneous power to drive motors. By releasing the stored energy for that purpose, the "SANUPS K33A" can reduce the capacity of the power distribution system in the factory.
The "SANUPS K33A" uses a long-life electric double-layer capacitor that enables a compact design and ensures stable, long-term, peak-cut performance.
